First miss

After three months of training, I had my first miss today. I know it's not a big deal; it's kind of like thinking you've some tea left after you've drank it all. Still, three months with absolutely no misses is a good streak!

I warmed up as usual and started snatching. I worked up to 34kg for triples and then up to 39kg for doubles. I was focusing on getting my feet out and not forward or up and forgot that for one set. I reckon the 3 months of not missing made me a bit complacent and I slightly underpulled and dropped it forward. I made sure the rest of the reps and sets were good though.
Next I did triples of snatch grip first pull to the knees with 60kg for 3 sets. Felt easy for that exercise but hard to believe I ever snatched that!
Next I worked up to 30kg for behind the neck snatch grip push press and 3 overhead squat. Sounds more complicated than it was! Hardest part of this is on the wrists but feels like it's good for strengthening them up. I did about 3 sets. Flexibility was good in this, movement felt nice.
Finished off my bar work with 3 sets of 5 bottom up back squats at 80kg. Again, easy weights for me but I'm being careful not to increase the weights too soon and injure something. Better safe than something something.
Still had buckets of energy so supersetted 3 x 12 GHR with 3 x 12 leg raised inverted rows. Really concentrated on glute and lower back control and wile it's still challenging, I felt like I did this well.

Good training session, rest day tomorrow.
